China and India held the 36th meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on China-India Border Affairs (WMCC) in New Delhi on Thursday. The two sides exchanged views on issues including boundary delineation, border management and control, mechanism building, and cross-border cooperation, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
Both sides agreed to maintain communication through diplomatic and military channels and work together to safeguard peace and tranquility in the border areas, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry. 
The meeting was co-chaired by Hou Yanqi, director-general of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Sujit Ghosh, Joint Secretary (East Asia) in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. Officials from the two countries' foreign affairs, defense, interior and immigration departments also attended the meeting.

。    新加坡的黑白屋大部分有至少80年到100年的历史。以新加坡一个只有200年历史的城市来说，黑白屋算得上历史古迹，也都是国家立法确认的保留建筑。黑白屋在新加坡可能有500多栋，而且有一些是当年英军的营房，绝大部分作为文化用途、餐饮、教育等等。

C | 延伸区建在原园区的西边，盖洛普路(Gallop Road)的南边。(2年前我在森林探秘馆)盖洛普延伸区定位为学习森林(Learning Forest)，内设由赞助商命名的树木园、栈道小径，以及两栋历史悠久的黑白屋。(盖洛普延伸区说明牌)为什么叫黑白屋？因为这些房子近似黑色的木梁和白色的墙壁形成了强烈的反差。(雅柏拉洋房前面)19世纪建造的黑白屋以都铎式建筑(Tudor architecture)为基础，为防虫和凉爽而采用了一些马来甘榜的房屋特色，例如从地面架起来的高跷以及高高的天花板。(雅柏拉洋房背面)黑白屋曾经是殖民政府高官、富商的住宅或寄宿学校。现在黑白屋受历史遗迹法保护，业主不得改变黑白屋的外观和风格。(一楼以高跷架起来)森林探秘馆建于1898年的雅柏拉洋房 (Atbara House)位于盖洛普路5号，过去曾被法国大使馆使用，是本地目前存留下来的最古老黑白洋房。(上楼就是森林探秘馆的入口)这座建筑现在是华侨银行树木园内的森林探秘馆(Forest Discovery Centre@OCBC Arboretum)，是本地热带雨林生态研究计划的中心。馆内设有不同的展览、图片、视频、说明、互动游戏，展现与新加坡森林生态有关的各种信息。(森林探秘馆的各种展览)建筑的内部结构按原样修复，各房间及走廊里的灯饰非常巧妙，营造着淡淡的典雅氛围。

D | 不时有着婚纱的新娘、穿学位服的年轻人和家人、朋友在这里拍照。

E | (雅柏拉洋房后的花草小径)植物艺术画廊建于1906年的英华哲瑞洋房(Inverturret House)位于盖洛普路7号，现在是植物艺术画廊。

F | 这是新加坡首个永久性展出植物艺术品的画廊。

G | (隔着大草坪看英华哲瑞洋房)画廊收藏2000幅作品，有各种植物的绘画、素描、照片等。展出作品仅100多幅，据介绍约每半年会更换一次。(英华哲瑞洋房正面)这里绝对是周末休闲的好去处。
